Hi, I'm Gonzalo, a passionate 3D rigger from Madrid, Spain, with over three years of experience in the animation and video game industry, continuously solidifying my expertise as a creative and technical rigger. My professional journey has allowed me to collaborate on international productions and innovative projects, bringing unique characters to life.

Professional Experience

Herobeat Studios: I collaborated on a video game project for this renowned company, leveraging my rigging skills and strengthening my technical and creative expertise.
Icon Creative Studio, Vancouver, Canada: I worked for over two years at this prestigious studio, contributing to animation projects for clients such as Disney Television and Knowledge Kids. This experience was crucial for my professional growth, where I honed advanced rigging techniques and developed custom tools.
Skydance Madrid: Currently, I'm back in Madrid, working on an exciting, unannounced feature film project. In this role, I collaborate with a talented team, bringing my rigging expertise and custom tools to the table.

Technical skills

Primary Software: Proficient in Autodesk Maya, where I create complex rigs that combine functionality and flexibility.
Programming: Advanced knowledge of Python, which I use to develop custom tools, including my autorig system featuring a biped setup and cartoon-style facial rig.
Anatomy Expertise: Strong foundation in anatomy applied to character design and rigging.
