ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Gonzalo, and I am a passionate 3d rigger from Madrid, Spain, with two years of experience in productions for clients such as "Disney Television" or "Knowledge kids".

I discovered my love for rigging during my career journey. This fascination led me to pursue a master's degree in "Rigging and Character Fx" at Utad College, where I honed my skills and expanded my knowledge in the field.

Experience and Expertise

Throughout my studies and professional career, I have gained proficiency in various software tools. Autodesk Maya has been my primary 3D program, allowing me to create intricate rigging setups and bring characters to life. Additionally, I possess programming knowledge, particularly in Python. Leveraging my programming skills, I have developed custom tools such as my autorig, which includes a body biped and a cartoon face rig. These tools have significantly enhanced my efficiency and productivity in my work.

Current Role

I am currently employed as an Intermediate Rigger at ICON Creative Studio, located in the vibrant city of Vancouver, Canada. Working at ICON Creative Studio has provided me with invaluable opportunities to collaborate with talented professionals and contribute to exciting projects in the industry.
